Watercolor: Amber Candle Kitchen Counter

I painted this little (7" x 10") practice study of my kitchen counter a few weeks ago, while hosting my exhibit at the Boddy House Gallery in Descanso Gardens. It was fun to chat with patrons, and explain the process of building a painting. I wish I had taken a few process shots, but I'll do that on the final painting. Title: Amber Candle, Kitchen Counter

Two monotypes from previous posts (see below) - Leda sees a Swan & Lemons with Chinese Vase- are listed for sale on Ebay this week. If you'd like to take a look or place a bid, click here: HAVE A LOOK

Belinda, I absolutely love your work and your ability to capture light. This is beautiful! PLEASE give us a blow-by-blow of the painting when you do it -- it would serve as a wonderful lesson to those of us who are out here struggling!!!
