This is Fred, the neighborhood watch-cat. He's monitoring the stripping, sanding and re-staining of a matched set of dining chairs in the driveway. He's an obstinate task-master, but he'll tolerate a break now and again if you share your ham sandwich. (sold)

Very nice!
Stunning! Love the shadow of the gloves. The cat's watching the resting gloves or watching the gloves stripping the chair? Could go either way!
Belinda, your work is just gorgeous! How have I missed you on IF? Now that I've found your site, I am going to make link on my illo blog. How inspiring your work is and thanks for sharing your processes with us!
The match painting is wonderful. I love how the abstract shapes and colors in the background mimic the languorous shape of the cat. Wonderful!
wonderful! my cat is exactly the same way.....
Belinda!! OHHHH -- HOW LOVELY!!! I love the details and colors -- and the way that cat is just relaxed and amazed at the same time -- and how the chairs are in varying stages! BRAVA!!!!
Lovely work as per usual.
VERY nicely done. :-)
what a wonderful watercolor....!
I love visiting your blog B. It is so inspiring! :)
Hi Belinda,
Very nice work!! I'll explore it further later. I have to get out of the house right now. My wife is having a "girls only weekend" for my daughter's 35th birthday.
So you found my blog and thus I found yours. Great work, I will study the print making aspects to learn more. And save the site so I can come back often to see what is new. Thank you.
your work is awesome! Your use of light and shadows are wonderful. The cat really looks relaxed sunning himself. Now I will go exploring your blog.
I love the colors and the linear shapes combined with the organic ones. Of course I have just fallen madly in love with Fred. Tell him "ginger" has a ham sandwich for him.
belinda, this is fantastic! i love the colors and repetition of shape, including the shadows! beautiful!
Glowing and gorgeous!
The real caption for this fine piece of work should be:
"PRECIOUS, COME AND EAT. PRECIOUS, COME AND EAT. PRECIOUS, COME AND EAT. PRECIOUS, COME AND EAT."
