I've been visualizing this monotype for awhile. I've always loved the pre-raphaelite painters like Millais, Hunt & Rosetti.
I'm most curious about each of their visual interpretations of Arthurian & Greek legends. The paintings are arranged like amazing theatrical stage sets.
This one was done pretty quickly, so it has a sketchy, painterly feel to it. I've added a light wash of watercolor to the first monotype in the line up above. Ophelia is 8 x 6, printed on Ivory Somerset printmaking paper, and painted with Winsor Newton watercolors. It's listed for sale on Ebay this week here. (sold)

Ohhhh, you make this look like so much fun. Beautiful!
Belinda, you left out my personal favorite of the pre-raphaelite (style) of artist - John Waterhouse. This is great, I love it. I picked up on the style and subject immediately. You're so cool.
I think it is one of your best
Stunning! I love your style!
Hey Belinda - wow... GREAT drama.
absolutely gorgeous. I just love the texture in your marks...and I'm a huge Rossetti fan myself!
Your work is so satisfying...the knuckle on Ophelia is genius.
