Alice Queen of Hearts: Watercolor

I've been blending themes and artistic influences a lot this year. Folk & Fairy Tales and Frida Kahlo, Nursury Rhymes & Poems and Klimt, etc. This was an Alice in Wonderland/Klimt study... her headband of rabbits and her hand over her heart were fun to paint. (sold)

I wonder if I've been changed in the night? Let me think. Was I the same when I got up this morning? I almost think I can remember feeling a little different. But if I'm not the same, the next question is 'Who in the world am I?' Ah, that's the great puzzle!

Dreamy and ethereal. I really like the palette, too... it keeps the dream of love swirling around her.
