Black Leather Couch; Monotype & Watercolor

Twenty years ago, I thought I should take a figure drawing class, just in case I decided to become an artist some day. The sketches hid untouched in a flat file in the garage, suffering both New England and Southern California climate shifts. Despite their age, and nomadic decades of neglect, those old sketches came in handy when I wanted to do a monotype of a nude, reclined on a couch.
