My good friend VLB sent me a great photo of bunny ear cactus and baren trees in a snowy Arizona desert.
This is a quick study for a larger painting, done at the Boddy House Gallery. I'm playing with sky colors, since the original photo was snow white ground & sky, with no horizon line or color anywhere other than the plant life. The sunsets in the region are notoriously gorgeous, so anything goes when it comes to palette choices.

I like the rich, vibrant colors you achieve in your watercolors. I enjoy your monotypes as well.
I am ready for winter! You really captured the feel of the chilly desert in winter.
It's great, Belinda.
