This meadow is a few miles from my studio. It changes color with the seasons, and inspires compulsive painting urges.

Love this Belinda. Reminds me of another CA landscape you did -- similar colors. 8-]
Ah! It's Property Line. And I was remembering the treatment of the field. 8-] Love that.
Belinda, this is stunning! What a wonderful piece. I can feel the air and smell the eucalyptus.
The colors of this are gorgeous! I would love to know what brand of watercolors you use and what your color palette is!
I'm not surprised about the compulsive painting urges - this is splendid!
Thanks for the nice comments Ellen, Laura, Megan and Katherine. This was a fun little painting, so I'm glad you like it. Megan, the brand of watercolors I use is Winsor Newton, with a few Graham & Co, and Daniel Smith. The palette for this one was ultramarine blue, yellow ochre, burnt sienna, veridian green, aliz crimson, aureolin yellow and cad red.
