This little watercolor was mistakenly done on drawing paper (no sizing), so the first washes of color spread like beads on a wood floor. No edges and faded color after the pigment sank into the paper. Time for colored pencil playtime.

I'm always astounded at how you get such great detail and color variations into such small pieces. This is wonderful -- very tranquil!
