Here's another little block of shina wood, toned with indigo watercolor, and drawn with a sharpie marker.
By toning the top surface, I can see the shapes of my carving more clearly.

The first proof print was very light, so I added watercolor washes to test a few adjustments I'll make to the block before printing the edition.
