I sold my dining room set this weekend. We need more seating for our expanding dinners. The table has been a steadfast model for me, especially as the sun comes up, and drapes the surface in bright light. I can't resist the scene. Luckily, I have pages of reference photos and sketches still to be painted.

Your paintings reflect such warmth. This one is so inviting. The room is just asking for company to come over sit and have a nice cup of tea. I'll bring my art books and we can talk.
Oh, no. Another DRS down. That makes two that I know about, maybe more if we count the towels on the floor at Prospect.
I always remembered this latest dining room set as I did the others -- more for the functionality than the objects themselves. I mean, they were nice in and of themselves, but as Peter says, your paintings convey an incredible amount of warmth. To "paintings" I'd add "hospitality."
Hope I get to sit at the new one sometime soon!
Wow! In watercolor... very beautiful! The details are wonderful and I absolutely love the cast light!
I agree with Peter and with Brendan -- “warmth” and “hospitality”! Couldn’t have said it better!
