Just before leaving for vacation, we hosted a little gathering to celebrate a milestone for my husband. I printed this image of three of our friends at the bar to take with me on the plane to paint. Below, it's taped to the cover of my palette for the first washes during the flight, and at the bottom, almost finished in the apartment we rented. More paintings from the trip and the plane later this week.
