Monotype: Retired Racer

Retired Racer 4x6 Monotype with Watercolor
Here is a little note, sent to my mailing list to wish everyone a festive holiday season, and also, to send an enthused & heartfelt thank you for all the support - in person and digitally this year. I really value my blog friendships.  You know, all you folks that leave comments here - the people I've never met? Yeah, you... you're the peeps, all those miles away, that I'm grateful for, because we hang out here in blogland  and chat about our mutual love for art - in all it's flavors - from the process, to the supplies, to the business practices. I'm in very good company.

Here's to an abundantly creative year ahead, with bigger-than-last-year plans, buckets of inspiration and discipline, and enough goals met each quarter to high five yourself in the mirror.
Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year to all of you!

Art Quote
Muscles may relax, and feet and hands slow down; the nerve of youth and manhood may become less trusty. But painting is a friend who makes no undue demands, excites to no exhausting pursuits, keeps faithful pace even with feeble steps, and holds her canvas as a screen between us and the envious eyes of Time or the surly advance of Decrepitude. ~Winston Churchill
